In 2004, Servicemax began to investigate the "art" of Green Cleaning. Unfortunately at that time the products were either not green or they simply did not work for cleaning purposes. The costs were also extremely high which would have significantly increased our pricing structure. Finally in 2006, manufacturers realized the growing need for "Green" products and pricing became reasonable as well as the fact that the products actually worked. Initially microfiber products infiltrated the market, primarily through the car detailing profession, the chemicals soon followed. Today, ServiceMax is a living testament to the fact that it is possible to clean "Green" and stay competitive in the marketplace. Initially the implementation was expensive. "Green equipment is double the cost; however with the fact that conservation is good for all, we turned "Green". We now offer 100% "Green Cleaning" for several of our accounts and in the rest, we have implemented the "green" chemicals and procedures, which puts us in 90% compliance. This effort was not easy, but many of our clients realize that it is the right thing to do, especially with the concern for water quality and conservation.
